This course will provide an introduction to SystmOne for staff in Adult Social Care at PCC and related services.

Part 2 is intended for all new staff who need to Social workers, ISAs, Managers.
The session is delivered as a guided series of practical exercises using a training database that mirrors the live system, and will provide an overview of SystmOne for social care, suitable for all users.

During the course you will

• Register a client


• Record a referral


• Allocate the case to yourself


• Add the case to a waiting list


• View and print your allocations (case list)


• Refresh Springboard


• Add a relationship (where both relatives are clients of ASC)


• Record an aseessment (questionaiiare)


• Update measures forms


• Generate a workd report / letter from a questionnaire


• Export a letter to Word / PDF (to save as a file)


• Record equipment (sensory / Telecare)


• Update personal details


• Update / End relationships


• Record and review a Hazard


• Record the start of Section 117 Aftercare


• Schedule and complete a recall (review)


• Change case status


• End Referral Allocations


• Manage tasks

By the end of the course you will be able to search and navigate SystmOne and perform essential tasks with a client record.

You will also have learnt about the basic SystmOne architecture: how the ASC Unit interacts with other organisations using SystmOne on the Spine according to data sharing preferences of the client.

Course guides and information will be made available before the course via the Intranet (search for "SystmOne"). Though excercises will be provided on the day we encourage you to print a copy and bring them with you.
